HDR Prague

For my first post of the New Year [yes I am slow] I figured I would start with a refreshed picture from Prague, Czech Republic in 2008.  I took another crack at editing it with an HDR finish.  I will readily admit I not the biggest fan of HDR imagery, but when done right I think it can really add depth and style to certain images.  Typically the sky is vastly improved with an HDR finish and better mimics the dramatic sky that was present at the time since it cannot always be captured in camera.  This is one of my first attempts at HDR, so be nice ok? Enjoy!

Happy Holidays!

Here in Colorado we celebrate the holidays a bit different :) Headed out for a nice snowhoe trip this afternoon and managed to pull the camera out for a few minutes.  Hope you have a wonderful New Year and holiday season!

Cheers!

A fall wedding...

We recently had the pleasure of covering Amanda & Jeff's gorgeous wedding near Estes Park at the Sunshine Mountain Lodge.  It was an intimately wonderful affair in a classicly beautiful mountain setting.  The aspen leaves were turning which made the already picturesque setting all the better.

Wedding Photo Book

Just received Marcus & Janessa's photo book in the mail and it looks great!  I look forward to their family seeing and sharing all the photos in the book!  This style of presentation is more affordable and modern than a traditional wedding album for those looking for something different.  Not to take anything away from 'full-on' wedding albums (love those too!) but this is truly a great product.  Just one of my many offerings for your wedding or event memories...

Some more iPhone pics!

As I continue to explore the possibilities of always having a camera on me, here are a few pics from a recent mountain bike ride.  After getting up early on the east coast and working my way home I was very tired but needed to escape for a ride when I got home.  Good thing too, because we got two feet of snow the next day!  So after being up since 3:30am mountain time, a quick ride in south Boulder on the Marshall Mesa trails system was just what I needed.
