Rocky Mountain Wildlife

So I had the chance to head up to Rocky Mountain National Park last week and have a go at some local wildlife.  I have always said I will never take living in Colorado for granted, but have realized we haven't been to RMNP nearly enough.  It is a truly wonderful place to have right in our backyard and we are fortunate to be able to take a day trip so easily.  Our photo mission turned out pretty good, but nothing I will be submitting for publication anytime soon.  I am hoping to get back to the park soon for some better opportunity.  So without further ado...

Happy Holidays!

Here in Colorado we celebrate the holidays a bit different :) Headed out for a nice snowhoe trip this afternoon and managed to pull the camera out for a few minutes.  Hope you have a wonderful New Year and holiday season!

Cheers!

A fall wedding...

We recently had the pleasure of covering Amanda & Jeff's gorgeous wedding near Estes Park at the Sunshine Mountain Lodge.  It was an intimately wonderful affair in a classicly beautiful mountain setting.  The aspen leaves were turning which made the already picturesque setting all the better.

Warmth & Cards

Sometimes the simple things in life are all you need.  Such as warmth and a game of cards with good friends.  Composed and taken at Vance's Cabin in the Colorado backcountry in the dead of winter at 11,000' on  a snowy night.  Warmth indeed! Warmth and comfort in the backcountry
