Another exploration of the macro world today. I've wanted to try some test shots of my new watch my lovely wife got for me for my birthday this year. I utilized Cactus V4 transmitters for off-camera flash to get just the right lighting. I shot in full manual with the final product at 1/60 of a second @ f/51, quite a small aperture setting to get the full watch in focus!

Nothing artsy for today's picture, other than a true work of art performance wise from The Airborne Toxic Event and the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. It was amazing show and we can't wait to see T.A.T.E. again soon. We just might even make one of those show in Europe during February :)

Another iPhone shot and not a very good one at that. I count this as more of a scouting pic for a better one down the road. I've passed this oil derrick many times on my drive home from the airport and have seen it in great light before. One day I'll have my SLR with me along with a zoom lens and I'll do this justice. For now, a less than mediocre image for today.
